In Her Bubble is a visual story exploring girlhood and the threshold between provincial childhoods and
romanticized futures. Staged in a village outside of Amsterdam, then in the city, the series draws on the white picket fence as a universal archetype of suburban predictability, reimagining it through the lens of young women dreaming of making it in the big apple of the Netherlands. By blending playful modernity with small-town nostalgia, the imagery captures how we construct, romanticize, and inhabit our own personal worlds.
